We got a rabbit as a pet. I thought it wouldn't be so hard, I mean really, you never think of a rabbit as hard to keep right?

Wrong! He bites everything! Power cords, cables, paper, doors, the carpet. And if he doesn't bite it, he scratches it. He doesn't eat a lot, just a couple of bites, but we have to be watching him the whole time. Apparently food isn't enough, he likes anything crunchy. Kiddie doors, the kind that keeps a baby in a room are useless, as he can easily jump over them. We love our rabbit though, and we're keeping him despite the amount of care needed.

that's just sad, hope i can help you with something..
i really think now is the time to reconsider shifting to wireless.

perhaps your lovely chinchilla was trying to tell you something like taking some break upon your busy days..
..that,. or the cables must have been delicious :D
